This was a fun find in the Mark Myers newsletter1: a site that reviews Amazon user reviews. It works reasonably well, it seems to me, after having tried the website version. The makers also offer the same service as a browser extension and as an app for mobile devices.
You copy and paste a specific Amazon product page into the app or web interface, and the service analyzes the most recent user reviews looking for clusters of similarities indicating an organized effort. The analytic output contains a lot of detail.

He mentions a second site, The Review Index, but I couldn’t get it to work right for me using Safari on Mac. That site offers a free trial of the provider’s “Pro” version, which I also didn’t try out.

I just got off the phone with my mom. She moved into assisted living from her independent living condo a couple of weeks ago, and she asked me to call her every morning because she was bored and feeling isolated. Now, after a week, she told me I don't need to call every day: like some girls in boot camp, she finds my quotidian minutiae just too dull for words.
I thought the kitchen sink drama was thrilling. It had suspense!
