Good morning. Following Cynthia, I wish all observant Christians a meaningful Good Friday.
The mothership is covering the lengthy affair of Julian Assange, who posted on his Wikileaks website, classified US documents provided him by then-US Army Private Bradley Manning (now known by a different name). Currently Assange is in a British prison likely on the verge of extradition to the US for violating the Espionage Act. His saga is not dull and worth a read. The mothership also highlights a Dispatch podcast discussion on the hiring and firing of Ronna McDaniel, former RNC chair, by NBC News.
I'd wish everyone a happy Good Friday, but that seems off, so, for those of you of the Christian religious persuasion, best wishes for a meaningful day of devotion. My husband and I are going to the renegade Stations of the Cross and Divine Mercy Novena this morning: our ancient Puerto Rican lady got permission from another parish to pray there, since it's not allowed at our church that we, like, paid for. And we have Veneration of the Cross at 3:00.
The former may pass for my outdoor exercise today, what with fasting, but I plan to write two animal articles, for my mental health. Speaking of mental health, I learned from Ed West's Substack, "The Wrong Side of History," that in Britain, "mental health" means mental illness, or at least feeling meh about things, as in, "I can't be expected to get to work on time. I have mental health."
"Meanwhile, dominos will continue to fall. In Tampa, there will be a verdict in the Ocana case and a public report from U.S. authorities, naming names."
It was a beautiful morning for the rebels' prayers.
I think Lewis is the one who brought it to my attention.
Bernie and his bros have a different version of your story and it includes words like paradise and utopia.
I saw this on a “Chicks on the Right” instagram post so had to investigate further. Oopsy. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/hailstorm-destroys-massive-solar-farm-sparking-fears-of-chemical-contamination.amp

Maybe.
