Josh recommends that we back things up.
During the 19th Century, the activity of "retro-walking" was little more than an eccentric hobby, but today research is revealing it can have real benefits for your health and brain.

Sounds to me suspiciously like one of those “go play in traffic” suggestions I used to hear as a kid.
Buenas tardes, everyone. D and I have arrived home from Florida. Jake is not sure he'll forgive me, but he only has about 36 hours before I leave on the next thing.
I need to go to Walmart and get some milk.
ha ha
Good Morning All ( just...lol)
Right now I care barely walk forwards...lol
So, yesterday I caved and went to Urgent care ( My GP couldn't get me in, but, I really liked the DR I saw at the Urgent Care. I might switch, because he is closer too.
SO, he thinks it is sciatica ( which I have experienced in my legs at night, and may be why my lower back hurts when I stand or bend over for too long). He gave me a script for some prednisone, a steroid ( yea, bloated face, veracious appetite and wired so much you can't sleep ( I had to take a lot of it during chemo...on a regular basis).
I had to take the first six pills ( step down med) all at once last night so I was worried about the sleep thing, but, it wasn't too bad. Told me to keep taking the Ibuprofen because it is a good inflammatory, use a heating pad, rest ( he wanted me to take tomorrow and Thursday off, but, I have already been off two days and I have a scheduled day off Friday, though my boss wouldn't have minded, I was worried about the work back up ,and yeah it has been busy today). He also gave me an exercise to use once the pain goes away. He said if I didn't get better they would look at other options...however, I already feel about 110 % better....it still hurts, but it is an ache, not knives stabbing me in the back. And I can almost stand straight up again. When I am sitting or laying down it doesn't bother me at all. And the lower back support in my car seat is awesome. ( My last two Rogues had heated seats with a lumbar thing, that was also awesome.)
So, things are looking up, and I feel a lot better. Now if only I could read political stuff without getting depressed and/or anxious...lol... kinda had a bit of a meltdown in Nicks column yesterday...sigh ( I love Nick, don't get me wrong...it was just the topic and I should have known better.)
And I should be able to go to the Craft Show Friday.
Rick got our Turkey yesterday for Thanksgiving and has packed up all the non Christmas decorations, in a day, well, he is finishing up some stuff today, so we are good to start the decorating, ( he does most of it).
I have a major gift for three of the people closest to me done, and only have a few to go. Then all the little things etc.
I am still eyeing that Christmas coat and I think I am going to cave...lol
Feel like I deserve a treat after this year...lol
Have a wonderful Wednesday!
