What strikes me first about this is that a group of legislators, those folks elected to represent the people, are vowing to fight against the will of the people. A 57-43% vote is a substantial statement, leaving no doubt as to the will of the voters. If any actually takes a step as they indicate they will, I think they should be impeached. I say this having nothing to do with abortion, but as a matter of a state constitution and the responsibilities of the elected officials being twisted.
I had a bit of a diversion. Yesterday afternoon I it occurred to me that the abdominal pain that hadn’t gone away in a day might be have something to do with the appendix, and now I’m home again after a late night appendectomy. So they’ve taken my appendix, but not my index, end notes or bibliography.
Anyway, that’s why I haven’t stopped by recently. Now to catch up on what I missed.
