Some of the ideas and amusement I get from Twitter, when I set aside a limited amount of time to scroll around, involves odds and ends. I always find odd notes on the direction of our English language interesting, as the language evolves. This was a note on British or UK English:

I'm surprised that only 22% of respondents were unfamiliar with "numpty."
