Hope you’re enjoying the end of the year. I’ll be glad to stop writing “2023,” which is a number I find aesthetically unappealing. There aren’t a lot of numbers that end in the digit “3” that appeal to me, for whatever reason. I look forward to writing “2024,” though. The even number “20” is preferable to my tastes, for one. So is the even number “24,” for another.
So much for my own personal take on numerology. Anyone else have any favorite numbers?
My daughter raises the following question:
Why do we start the new year by dropping the ball?
I was born in 1963 so I have an affinity for that number. I like 1981 better, it was the year I graduated high school and I would have to say it was one of the better decades for me. If you asked me my lucky number, I would say 9. Not sure why, I've just always liked that number and it would be my powerball number if I played the lottery. The birth days of my family members are 3, 5, 6 and 7. The fifth member, the wayward boy, is 15 but he was due on the 6th. The husband has Covid (we tested cause he is a doctor) and has had a hellish sore throat. We weren't able to see the grandbaby over Christmas. Hopefully we can meet up in a few weeks.
