Trumpet singer
Trumpeter Jenny fell in with a group of Mexican musicians in Spain—and they make beautiful music together as Jenny and the Mexicats.
It’s an interesting blend of styles. This is what Apple Music has to say about them:
Jenny & the Mexicats are an international award-winning musical collective based in Mexico City. Their sound thwarts the notion of musical boundaries. Their lineup includes an Englishwoman, two Mexicans, and a Spaniard. They freely mix elements of jazz, roots rockabilly, folk, flamenco, reggae, "veracruzano," mariachi, Americana, cumbia (Mexican and Colombian), and lots in between.
I don’t think I could ever identify that many musical genres. There isn’t much else I have to say about it. So I won’t abuse the keyboard aimlessly. See what you think.
I just saw a news report. The fashionable mall on the far side of Dayton from me.
They decided to have an Easter egg hunt. They worked off the area, they put in plenty of staff. They announced one and two YO would go first, then 3 and 4, then the older kids. That was as the plan, the announced plan, the plan announced multiple times.
Apparently a majority of the parents are deaf. Because they hopped the rope line, they let older kids go all over, and they collected eggs too. 😱. Apparently, some parents even pushed other kids out of the way to collect eggs. The Mall announced they won’t do this again next year. 😳
First The Who concert in Cincinnati, now this, what is it about Ohioans? 🧐
Music is an international language that needs no subtitles.
